At DSV we believe that Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) implemented effectively has the potential to redress inequality while also being a tool for growth and sustainability.
We are a Level 2 company which means that your procurement spend with us will provide you with B-BBEE spend recognition at a rate of 125%. We are 51% black and 30% black female owned.
All of our programmes are designed to contribute toward B-BBEE, growth and sustainability in South Africa. In addition to our ongoing commitment to train and develop our own staff, we support a significant number of previously unemployed learners each year. Our Enterprise & Supplier Development programme is a key focus area going forward, where we aim to identify, train and support black entrepreneurs to the point that they became sustainable suppliers to DSV and indeed other companies.
Through the DSV Empowerment Trust we will continue to assist and promote tertiary education amongst the youth of South Africa. With targeted training and recruitment we intend to promote the representation of designated B-BBEE groups throughout all levels of management.
