Move forward as Student Warehouse Employee at DSV in Venlo

Do you want to earn some extra money besides your studies or internship? But do you not want to be tied to fixed schedules or hours? As a student warehouse employee at DSV, you decide when you are available for work. Do you have exams or are you on holiday? Then you work a little less. Do you have summer vacation? Then you are welcome every day to support our x-dock team.

You get it done

As a student warehouse employee, you play an indispensable role within our x-dock. From unloading trucks, preparing the correct documentation, and checking for deviations. You’re on it!

How do you do this? You are part of an energetic and young team, mainly consisting of students. Together, you ensure the unloading of incoming trucks in the evenings and holiday periods. Then you make sure that the incoming goods are correctly prepared at the right loading docks, provided with the correct documentation. Thanks to you, these shipments continue their journey the next day, on their way to their next destination. You achieve this by:

  • unloading trucks and moving shipments using a forklift and/or electronic pallet truck;
  • scanning inbound and outbound shipments;
  • proper handling of transport documentation;
  • performing visual checks, so that damages or missing goods can be reported on time.

Your team stands out within DSV because of the friendships that have arisen on the x-dock. You will be working in a young team, mainly consisting of students. In addition to hard work, there is a lot of laughter, and occasionally a drink or dinner is planned for after work.

We are DSV, we grow

During my studies, I started with a part-time job in the warehouse. After my studies, I stayed and I am working as a Transport Planner at DSV for some time now with great pleasure,
