Move forward as Site Manager at DSV in Haps

In autumn we will start our logistics services regarding advanced nutrition products at our customer where quality is paramount, including HACCP and various ISO standards. So a new location, new colleagues, fantastic challenges and you will be part of it!

How will you do this? 

As Site Manager, you are ultimately responsible for the daily operation (±200 FTE) of our 3PL location in Haps and report directly to our Senior Director. You ensure that quality is always paramount and that the established production standards, procedures and rules are met. You are P&L responsible and continuously steer on KPI/targets and workforce. 

You are able to cooperate with the customer at strategic and tactical level. You are strong in driving current projects and improvements in the operation as well as future automation. Furthermore, you know how to promote cooperation within the organisation at all times, you believe in self-managing and entrepreneurial teams, you are an open personality who empowers employees and you facilitate employee satisfaction. You will achieve this by: 

  • from Go-live running an efficient operation and achieving agreed KPI targets; 
  • making an active contribution to the development of your team. You look at capabilities and qualities to ensure that you have the right people working in the right place;
  • being able to switch between functional needs and technical solutions, to arrive at (structural) solutions;
  • setting priorities, driving improvement projects and continuously challenging our services.

You bring

  • passion for the job; your enthusiasm is contagious to others; 
  • experience in a leadership role within a 3PL organisation;
  • knowledge of and experience with lean and driving significant improvement and innovation projects;
  • analytical skills with which you identify bottlenecks and define solutions or process improvements;
  • good communication skills in both English and Dutch.
