Move forward as Manager Healthcare at DSV in Schiphol

Be ultimately responsible for all commercial, operational and quality-related activities in the healthcare department in Rozenburg. You must ensure quality, develop the department's growth (commercial and financial) and inspire and motivate your team. All this with extensive knowledge/experience in the field of Healthcare and GDP/GMP. That is what you do!

You get it done

As Manager Healthcare, you are ultimately responsible for all activities, such as import, export and logistics activities for various international customers. In Rozenburg, you are also responsible for your own 7,500 m2 GDP-certified pharma warehouse, from where storage and distribution take place.

As Healthcare Manager, you are expected to dare to make decisions and be curious. Your strong personality is an example for your team, with whom you work closely. From Junior Freight Forwarders to experienced Key Account Managers. You take the lead regarding the positive customer experience where quality in terms of GDP/GMP is very high: you work on it.

How do you do this? By working very closely as Healthcare Manager with the key account contacts, airlines, carriers and agents. And of course your own team, which consists of 24 people, where you directly manage 4 Team Leads, 3 Key Account Managers and colleagues from the quality department.

You are active with personnel management (from absence to job applications), initiate promotional activities for the larger accounts and maintain close contacts and relationships with the carriers. In addition, you periodically visit global key accounts, suppliers and carriers. You prepare and lead periodic meetings with customers and suppliers. Your creativity and initiative are welcome to strongly commercially expand the activities. You report directly to the branch manager and provide him with the requested weekly and/or monthly kpi's.

Your responsibility as healthcare manager is to take care of the international customers and transport their shipments. You will achieve this by:

  • be active problem solver and point of contact for your colleagues regarding escalations and issues;
  • be responsible with regard to compliance with key (work) processes and the maintenance, standardization, implementation and compliance of the (work) processes;
  • being proactive in drawing up and implementing continuous improvement plans (for our customers);
  • compiling performance reports (for internal and external use).

Your team stands out within DSV through enthusiasm, sociability and hard work. All colleagues get along very well. And help each other where necessary when things get hectic on the shop floor. As long as there is laughter.
