The Business Change Management department works on supporting the business in general and specifically on streamlining processes for the benefit of both customers and DSV. The projects you work on take place worldwide at various DSV locations. It varies per project how often and/or you have to be on location to realise the project and you work on it! 

How you do this? 

In the position of Logistics Engineer Freight, you work every day in an international environment. As a person, you are independent and know how to communicate at various levels to deliver the project in the right way. You have a hands on mentality, you work in a structured way and you are willing and able to travel (about 10-20% of the time).

As Logistics Engineer, you are the specialist who is operationally capable of correctly analysing (customer) data, You design the freight management processes and implement these in the various systems yourself. You are also involved in other implementations and jointly ensure that the right checks are carried out at the right times. You get this done by: 

• collecting data from internal and external sources; 
• analysing the data sets; 
• designing and recording the freight management processes derived from the business requirements; 
• drive the application implementation;
• testing systems and delivering them to operations for user acceptance tests;
• developing business intelligence.

Your team stands out within DSV because of its international nature and the complexity and diversity of its many projects. One day you are organizing and executing workshops with new customers, the next day you are on a plane to design a complete warehouse process and determine the total impact on the business with all stakeholders yourself.  The dynamics are different every day!

You bring

• a Bachelor's or Master's degree; 
• 2-3 years of work experience (as a freight engineer or transport manager);
• experience within contract logistics, preferably in an international environment; 
• experience with MPO Supply Chain Suite is an advantage.
