The Business Change Management department works on supporting the business in general and specifically on streamlining processes for the benefit of both customers and DSV The projects you work on take place worldwide at various DSV locations. It varies per project how often and/or you have to be on location to realise the project and you work on it! 

How you do this? 

In the position of Integration Engineer, you work in an international environment. As a person, you are independent and lead the project at all levels to deliver the project in the right way. Your main objectives are to define the EDI messaging and exchange between the customer's host application and DSV's application(s), primarily the Warehouse Management System. You have a hands on mentality, you work in a structured manner, and you are willing and able to travel (approximately 10-20% of the time).

You understand and deliver the standard DSV EDI messaging standards, you initiate and facilitate workshops with customers, operations and IT to define EDI solutions in case non-standard needs to be implemented. You get this done by: 

• designing EDI mapping and exchange methodology; 
• defining test scenarios for the system; 
• organizing and supervising acceptance and integration testing of messages delivered by the EDI development teams; 
• managing Client IT stakeholders.

Your team stands out within DSV because of its international nature and the complexity and diversity of its many projects. One day you are in progress organizing and conducting workshops with new customers, the next day you are on a plane to design a complete warehouse process and determine the total impact on the business with all steakholders yourself.  The dynamics are different every day!

You bring

• a Bachelor's or Master's degree; 
• experience with EDI projects (including XML, EDIFACT, API and protocols such as AS2, sFTP, https); 
• 1-2 years work experience (as an integration engineer); 
• experience with EDI in relation to WMS systems (preferably BlueYonder WMS Dispatcher).
