A considered scam on the sale of vehicles using the DSV name

We have recently become aware that our brand is being used by unknown third parties in the purported sale / purchase of vehicles on Facebook marketplace.  We consider that this is a “scam” whereby the perpetrators are seeking to encourage people to part with funds or vehicles by referencing well established logistics brands to gain confidence.  

We take matters of this nature very seriously and are taking steps to stop this activity.  We are engaging with the authorities, including the police, Trading Standards and Facebook to try and identify the source as a matter of urgency.  We are also seeking the take-down of websites which are infringing our trade marks and may be connected to this activity.

DSV is a global supplier of transport and logistics movements of freight via road, sea, air and rail, we do not engage with the sale or hire of vehicles.
