Move forward as Customer Service Representative at DSV in Venlo

You get it done

As a customer service representative, you are the first point of contact for our customers in Venlo. You ensure that all questions, orders and complaints relating to goods storage and transport are handled correctly. You’re on it! 

How do you do this? With your knowledge of operational and logistics processes, you ensure that the correct data and planning are available for the inbound, order picking and outbound processes within our warehouse. You monitor the pick/pack process and identify any disruptions, which you solve and communicate with the customer and carriers. You get this done by: 

  • pick and pack process in real time. You do this with the help of our warehouse management system and through internal and external coordination with the customer; 
  • signalling disruptions and timely informing the customer(s) about expected delays/changes; 
  • acting as first operational point of contact for assigned customer(s) and internal departments; 
  • handling customer(s) complaints and relaying these escalations to relevant departments.

You bring

  • passion for the job! You also know how to transfer this to others. After all, you feel like a fish in the water within transport and logistics; 
  • experience in a comparable role, as customer contact employee, customer service employee or similar; 
  • a customer-oriented attitude goes without saying; in addition, you know how to master systems quickly and have good communication skills; 
  • a good command of the Dutch and English languages, both verbally and in writing.
