Move forward as a Business Change Manager at DSV in Hoofddorp

Will you soon be the person dealing with change projects, implementations of new customers including the corresponding improvements in systems? Are you in daily contact with international colleagues and customers about all their system issues?

In the Business Change Management department, you and your international colleagues are involved in all kinds of projects. For internal colleagues on the other side of the world as well as for new and existing customers. Making sure things run smoothly and providing support with regard to systems such as Blue Yonder (TMS); you are involved.

How you do this? The Business Change Manager is responsible for managing new client implementations and system implementations for medium to large projects for DSV, with a focus on change management and facilitation initiatives. You may be operating as an intermediary one moment, between client and operational colleagues. And the other moment precisely business support. In both cases in relation to system technical issues. You participate in defining business requirements and defining technical requirements. You involve business users in defining use cases and workflows and map current and future process flows. You get this done by: 

  • participating in the solution design process for new customers; 
  • successfully executing the three phases of a change project; preparing, managing and reinforcing change;
  • serving as liaison between all functional groups involved in new business start-ups (HR, IT, Engineering, Operations, etc.) for new customer implementations and complex IT projects;
  • conduct organisational and change assessments to prepare the project team and plan for the expected impact of the (proposed) changes.

Your team stands out within DSV due to its international nature. Your work location is Hoofddorp, where you work directly with Linda. Your two other colleagues work at a US location. The working language is English. On the one hand with your colleagues in your team and on the other with colleagues and contacts outside the Netherlands. Furthermore, the team is sociable, in for a nice chat and there is definitely laughter.

You bring

  • hbo working and thinking level, supplemented by at least 3 years' work experience in a similar position;
  • good analytical skills, which you use on a daily basis in various activities;
  • a healthy dose of assertiveness, independence and knowing how to prioritise;
  • good to excellent knowledge of English (spoken and written);
  • preferably experience with Blue Yonder Transportation Management System (TMS) and MS Office;
  • up-to-date experience with IT workflow tools such as Jira and Confluence.
